Anyone who has ever spoken to me about autism and schools will know that I am strongly against ABA and do not promote it in any way.
Today I've been talking to some ND speech pathologists/therapists about the use of PECs at snack time and how it stems from ABA.
I've tried asking what the harm is when I've seen first hand that children are never withheld snacks and it's only a five minute exercise.
I know I sound like an apologist...I'm aware!
I honestly just want info but everyone who joined in has just said "it's ABA so it's a hard no" with no other information, ideas etc.
I don't want to be a parent telling ND people my opinion I'm just looking for info. So if you have any please let me know below 👇👇
